And there’s a theatre company too!

Knees and Toes Theatre  was formed in 2017. 

Inspired by the stories created in class by Toni and the children at Toni’s Tots Drama, Knees and Toes Theatre strives to produce highly energetic and interactive theatre for very young audiences in which the children play a part – literally.

Children are invited to be in the show and are integral to the plot. They are encouraged to be a part of the performance on stage, meeting different characters, problem solving and ultimately saving the day.

Our first show was “Mr Silly Pancake and the Land of Cake and Biscuits.”  It premiered at The Birmingham Rep in Dec 2107 to sell-out audiences and was performed again to full houses at Midland Arts Centre in 2018

We are currently developing our second show “The Monster Clean -Up!”. This will be an interactive outdoor piece of theatre for young children and their families, set in the woodlands of Monsterland where something large and plastic has become a monster problem. The Monster Clean -Up! was due to be premiered at Bournville Book Festival in June  2020, but due to the COVID -19 pandemic, will now be performed in 2021.
